Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for the development and maintenance of iOS and Android applications.
- Design and implement features while ensuring mobile application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with Product Management to analyze requirements and contribute to the product roadmap.
- Work with developers and cross-functional disciplines, including Support, to achieve product goals.
- Drive the lifecycle from prototyping and implementation through testing and maintenance.
- Define and promote best practices for code robustness, security, performance, and scalability.
- Diagnose and resolve product issues and coordinate with Support on customer escalations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience with a bachelor’s degree.
- 3+ years of experience developing on the iOS platform.
- Strong background in object-oriented languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, or C#.
- Strong understanding of Swift, Objective-C, multithreading, MVC, MVVM, and unit testing.
- Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, the Android operating system, and their ecosystems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred: knowledge of Kotlin; experience with AWS or Azure PaaS/IaaS; experience with Appium, XCTest, or Espresso; familiarity with Git workflows and associated tools; knowledge of certificates, tokens, OAuth, and identity management; full-stack web development experience; Agile/Scrum experience; and mobile device management experience.
