Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle for AIDN platform components, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational maintenance.
- Design and build secure, consistent, available, scalable distributed systems for AWS network management.
- Apply distributed systems knowledge and networking fundamentals, including planning for scale and degraded conditions.
- Improve platform health visibility through metrics, monitoring, and alarms.
- Participate in design and code reviews, mentor less-experienced engineers, communicate risks and progress, and collaborate across team boundaries.
- Contribute to the team’s technical direction and make independent technical trade-offs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ years of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
