Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and launch innovative products and services.
- Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant, low-cost distributed systems and services.
- Develop distributed storage, index, and query systems for high performance and ease of management.
- Define product features, refine system architecture, and establish software engineering best practices.
- Write solutions for broadly defined problems and deliver high-quality software in an iterative environment.
- Participate in product definition, architecture reviews, development, code reviews, testing, and operations.
- Interact with enterprise customers and communicate clearly with business, technical, and engineering partners.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
