Base Salary
$200k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for real-time analytics and machine learning workloads.
- Improve system reliability and performance through automation, observability, and capacity planning.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, rollback mechanisms, and configuration management.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, SLOs, runbooks, on-call rotations, and incident response processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams on performance and reliability.
- Support security, compliance, and operational readiness across cloud infrastructure.
- Lead post-incident analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- 5+ years of experience with datacenter operations and/or system and network administration.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, systems performance tuning, SSH, terminal usage, shell scripting, and the Linux command line.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Programming and scripting ability with Terraform, Ansible, Bash, and/or Python.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Ability to debug complex systems and automate solutions in scripting languages.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Spark, Airflow, Kafka, cloud-native security practices, and SOC-2 or other high-compliance environments.
