Base Salary

$104k - $155k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Guide the team through Program Increment planning, feature breakdown, and cross-team dependency management.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and maintain Java applications within the Planner subsystem.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Support delivery of sprint and PI goals while resolving obstacles and maintaining team engagement.
  • Ensure software meets performance, security, reliability, and mission-critical quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of experience, a related master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Current, active, in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance required at application and start.
  • Previous experience as a software engineer, systems engineer, or technical contributor supporting software development teams.
  • Knowledge of Java/J2EE or similar object-oriented programming; C++ experience is a plus.
  • Experience with coding standards, automated testing, automated build pipelines, and configuration management.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices, including experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Preferred experience includes DoD or missile-defense software, SAFe, Agile feature and user-story breakdown, and leading complex DoD software teams.
  • Preferred certifications include CSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, SSM, or PSM.
