Base Salary
$125k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to design, testing, and integration across the full project lifecycle to deliver production-ready vision capabilities.
- Research and develop scalable computer vision for 2D/3D imaging, camera calibration, object detection, image processing, segmentation, metrology, alignment, and identification.
- Design, implement, and deploy full-stack machine vision and machine learning solutions using C++, C#, and Python.
- Engineer vision solutions for automated test handlers and quality inspection equipment.
- Integrate and validate vision solutions with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineering teams.
- Provide production support by troubleshooting vision issues, analyzing logs and images, and implementing corrective improvements.
- Interface with customers and sales as required and provide work leadership or training to lower-level professional employees when needed.
- Travel domestically or internationally as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Science is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience developing machine vision software in industrial environments.
- At least 5 years of C++/C#/.NET Windows desktop development experience, including WPF.
- Hands-on experience integrating industrial cameras, lenses, and illumination.
- Strong C++ and/or C#/.NET skills with Visual Studio and Git-based source control.
- Practical experience developing machine vision and image-processing algorithms using OpenCV or similar libraries.
- Experience applying object-oriented design across the full software development lifecycle.
- Preferred experience with TensorFlow or similar machine learning frameworks, 2D/3D imaging, camera calibration, optics and lighting, UML, factory production diagnostics and support, and mentoring.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
