Responsibilities
- Contribute to customer implementations across application assessment, planning and design, deployment architecture, development, build, integration, release configuration, testing, production operations, optimization, and best-practice adoption.
- Deliver classroom-based training to architects, developers, and operations professionals.
- Collaborate with consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams.
- Develop a reputation as a trusted advisor for MongoDB and its customers.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap.
- Communicate complex technical proposals and product-roadmap information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ensure customer success with MongoDB initiatives and maintain the required billable utilization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development, consulting, or support experience, preferably across multiple industries or verticals.
- Competence in at least one of Java, C#, Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Go.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort with a role combining deep technical work and customer-management responsibilities.
- Confidence speaking and presenting in collaborative customer settings.
- Ability to travel frequently for short customer-site trips, up to 15%.
- Fluency in French and English.
