Base Salary
$204k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop C++ software systems for realistic world generation.
- Integrate software into downstream Waymo applications.
- Collaborate with simulation, onboard, and system engineers on critical features.
- Monitor and improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Contribute to the long-term architecture design of the system.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Strong professional experience developing modern C++ production software.
- 5+ years of solid coding and design skills.
- 5+ years of experience with backend technologies and production monitoring.
- Ability to solve open-ended technical challenges.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
