Base Salary
$122k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own release planning, coordination, and execution across multiple teams and enterprise HR platforms.
- Manage cross-team and cross-platform dependencies, release scope, priorities, risks, and readiness checkpoints.
- Coordinate change management activities, including CAB reviews and approvals.
- Participate in technology governance, architecture discussions, design reviews, and trade-off decisions.
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise integrations, API-based services, platform modernization, and release strategy.
- Coordinate integration testing, test plans, quality gates, validation checkpoints, and production readiness.
- Investigate complex integration, release, and production issues and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor integration health and deployment outcomes while improving reliability, resiliency, support processes, and platform stability.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in software engineering, release management, or technical program delivery.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices and enterprise production release processes.
- Experience managing dependencies and trade-offs across parallel initiatives and platform upgrades.
- Experience participating in technology governance, architecture discussions, or design reviews.
- Experience with release governance, change management processes, and CAB approvals.
- Strong technical background for collaboration with engineering and architecture teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills focused on release plans, technical trade-offs, and architectural considerations.
- Preferred: experience in a Scaled Agile/SAFe environment, Workday functional knowledge, HR platform or enterprise modernization experience, and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and release or change tracking tools.
