Responsibilities

Develop new and improve existing functionality for rich internet applications.
Develop server-side logic and client-server APIs using WebSocket and server-sent events technologies.
Analyze and improve performance on both the server and client side.
Improve development processes, developer experience, observability, and component traceability.
Communicate with designers, developers, business analysts, and customers.

Proficiency in fundamental data structures and algorithms.
Proficiency in Java.
Knowledge of design patterns and experience developing system architectures.
Experience consuming live streams of data using technologies such as WebSocket or server-sent events.
Understanding of JavaScript and its operation in modern browsers.
Good knowledge of HTML and CSS is desirable.
Experience with Magnolia CMS or another CMS, FreeMarker or another template language, and Jackrabbit is desirable.
Understanding of modern browser performance, including reflow, repaint, compositing, asset-loading costs, and related factors is desirable.
Experience developing software for financial or brokerage businesses is desirable.
TypeScript, Docker, and NGINX experience is preferable.
