Base Salary
$185k - $327k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead major Neighborhoods mobile workstreams across Cash App and Square.
- Drive cross-team architecture and execution for loyalty, marketing, ordering, and ecosystem integration features.
- Shape mobile systems connecting customer discovery in Cash App with seller ordering and fulfillment workflows in Square Point of Sale.
- Develop hands-on iOS features using SwiftUI, Workflow, and related technologies.
- Partner with backend, web, Android, product, and design teams to define scope and make technical and product tradeoffs.
- Mentor engineers and raise the team’s technical quality bar.
- Use and scale practical AI-assisted workflows for development, testing, observability, documentation, migration, debugging, QA, experimentation, and iteration.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant iOS engineering design and implementation experience.
- Deep experience with Swift and Objective-C.
- Experience leading iOS architecture using unidirectional data flow, declarative UI frameworks, and scalable mobile patterns.
- Experience leading medium-to-large, multi-person mobile initiatives across team boundaries from ambiguous problem framing through delivery.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Track record of shaping team mission and roadmap, establishing technical direction, and mentoring engineers.
- Ability to apply AI tools thoughtfully while maintaining technical judgment, customer trust, maintainability, and accountability.
