Base Salary
$126k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate foundational public-cloud infrastructure for accounts, networking, and compute.
- Develop Java and Spring Boot microservices and tooling for cloud onboarding, account management, provisioning, and orchestration.
- Implement developer-friendly cloud capabilities, infrastructure-as-code, policy-as-code, CI/CD, automated testing, auditability, and requirements traceability.
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices and support the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and operations.
- Develop cloud-native solutions, process improvements, and automation initiatives while ensuring regulatory, security, and operational compliance.
- Engage application developers and technology stakeholders, communicate requirements, and support cloud strategy and organizational engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 6+ years of strong hands-on Java development experience, including Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.0+.
- Experience implementing secure REST services and microservices and deploying code to public clouds and container environments.
- Experience with CI/CD build pipelines, container technologies, Kubernetes platforms, automated testing, middleware, distributed messaging, databases, Domain Driven Design, and Event Driven Architecture.
- Knowledge of AWS or GCP cloud-native services and experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT bearer tokens, identity frameworks, X509 certificate security, Windows Security, trust-chain security, and SAML/SSO.
- Experience with ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, workflow engines such as Camunda or jBPM, and open-source technologies and tools.
