Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the Megaport Portal and other web projects from problem definition through tested, maintainable implementation.
- Develop frontend applications using Vue, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, TanStack, and the NX monorepo.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and challenge unclear or unsuitable requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to create intuitive, high-performing user experiences.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools such as Vitest and Playwright.
- Improve frontend architecture, patterns, processes, and development practices.
Requirements
- At least a couple of years of experience building responsive web applications.
- Comfort with Vue, React, Angular, or a similar modern frontend framework.
- Proficiency reading and writing TypeScript and producing clean, maintainable code.
- Experience integrating with APIs and web services.
- Clear communication, critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and ownership of work.
- Knowledge of accessibility, semantic HTML, the web platform, and internationalization is preferred.
- Experience with Vitest, Playwright, monorepos, CI/CD, or component-driven development is preferred or can be learned.
