Base Salary
$200k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own large portions of the application and drive major features from start to finish.
- Build safe, impactful generative-AI-powered user experiences.
- Scale the platform to process terabytes of data from varied sources.
- Query and notify users about data in real time.
- Optimize search algorithms for fast result delivery.
- Train, deploy, integrate, and monitor machine learning models.
- Collaborate with engineers, deployment teams, and users to iterate on solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- More than 8 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
- Understanding of responsible generative AI practices, with bonus experience applying LLMs to user experiences.
- Experience shipping and iterating on production-grade software professionally or in the open-source community.
- Ability to write robust, well-tested, well-designed code that is frequently deployed to users.
- Strong modern software development practices and comfort navigating large codebases.
- Located in Washington, DC and open to working in the office.
