Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on testing of NMS, OSS, EMS, SDN controllers, and L1/L2 transport devices.
- Create comprehensive test plans to evaluate software application performance.
- Identify and document defects, anomalies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Use scripting languages and testing tools to support quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with test engineers, software programmers, and cross-functional teams.
- Work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience testing NMS, OSS, EMS, SDN controllers, and L1/L2 transport devices.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash.
- Familiarity with testing tools, data backup, query languages, defect tracking software, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP is optional.
