Base Salary
$111k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create interactive membership experiences for Twitch viewers and creators.
- Architect and build robust, scalable applications handling millions of concurrent users.
- Participate in operational excellence work to maintain and support live services.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to build products and solutions.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional software development experience focused on scalable systems.
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go and distributed system technologies.
- Experience building product experiences that users value.
- Strong problem-solving skills involving algorithms, data structures, and distributed system design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience.
- Preferred experience with Golang, TypeScript, React, mobile development, AWS technologies, or the gaming, streaming, or Twitch ecosystem.

- Base salary varies by location: $110,500–$160,000 annually in Seattle and $127,100–$185,000 annually in San Francisco.
