Responsibilities
- Design separate software and hardware components, modules, classes, and devices.
- Code, debug, document, test, and maintain portions of embedded software and hardware.
- Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems on real devices and resolve system-level issues.
- Support test engineers and support personnel with software installation and operational issues.
- Participate in estimation, planning, customer meetings, technical documentation, and user documentation.
- Report project status, identify process and engineering deficiencies, suggest improvements, and escalate technical issues to the Architect, Team Lead, and Project Manager.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with C.
- Experience with cloud connectivity applications, including monitoring and Firmware-Over-the-Air solutions.
- Strong background in LTE, BLE, OpenThread, MQTT, and cybersecurity.
- Practical experience with Yocto Linux.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems on real devices using J-Link and ST-Link.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
- Hardware knowledge, Docker, GitLab, and Jira experience are listed as a plus.
