Responsibilities
- Define cloud architecture, technical strategy, and engineering standards across enterprise platforms.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code, automation, platform engineering, and cloud modernization practices.
- Architect and implement AWS, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS-based solutions.
- Build and optimize automated deployment workflows, infrastructure delivery pipelines, and cloud operational frameworks.
- Lead cloud governance, security, compliance automation, operational resilience, and automated audit evidence initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex cloud infrastructure challenges.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams on technology investments and business objectives.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence, innovation, automation, and cloud-first strategies.
- Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities and AI-powered engineering tools into cloud platforms and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale cloud infrastructure and leading cloud transformation initiatives.
- Expert-level experience with AWS Cloud Services, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, or equivalent technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Git-based workflows, platform automation, containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, and cloud platform operations.
- Experience with cloud networking, security, compliance, reliability engineering, governance, configuration management, and secure deployment frameworks.
- Experience with scalability, performance optimization, operational resilience, and enterprise cloud automation.
- Experience evaluating or integrating AI/ML, generative AI, large language models, AI agents, and AI-driven automation into engineering operations.
- Ability to influence technical direction, make architectural decisions, manage stakeholders, and mentor engineering teams.
- Preferred experience in Payments, Financial Services, FinTech, regulated industries, enterprise cloud transformation, FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and continuous compliance.
- Advanced AWS, Kubernetes, or cloud platform certifications are preferred; Windows administration and industry thought leadership are pluses.
