Responsibilities
- Build and improve capabilities that accelerate production machine learning and generative AI solutions.
- Develop services and pipelines that enable multiple ML and AI features in PagerDuty products.
- Partner with data scientists by sharing engineering context and supporting larger initiatives.
- Apply effective techniques and practices for shipping machine learning capabilities to production.
- Optimize workflows and reduce technical debt.
- Stand up infrastructure for data exploration, model training, and model deployment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building, designing, and shipping machine learning solutions to production.
- Proven software development experience with Python.
- Experience with data modeling, database design, ETL processes, unstructured data, and cloud-based data infrastructure tools.
- Ability to build infrastructure components supporting ML data exploration, training, and deployment processes.
- Preferred: experience working with product teams to drive timely delivery.
- Preferred: exposure to large language models and generative AI, including their capabilities and use cases.
- Preferred: ability to develop and ship machine learning services using container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
