Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable full stack features for the AI biomanufacturing platform.
- Own product functionality end-to-end from architecture through production deployment.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
- Integrate AI capabilities in collaboration with ML scientists and data engineers.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, and engineering quality.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, technical documentation, and engineering best-practice work.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
- Communicate with pharmaceutical clients and domain experts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial full stack software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript for backend development.
- Experience with frontend development and modern web technologies.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, API design, and distributed systems.
- Experience delivering production-grade software with scalability and reliability considerations.
- Good understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
- Ability to own work from problem discovery through solution delivery.
- Preferred: experience in GxP, GMP, or HIPAA-regulated environments.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI/ML integrations or LLM-powered products.
- Preferred: background in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biomanufacturing.
- Preferred: experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
