Responsibilities
- Define and communicate technical vision and execute IT strategy in alignment with organizational standards.
- Lead application architecture, design, development, delivery, and optimization for scalable cloud-native digital platforms and applications.
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for architects, application owners, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Establish strategic initiatives, priorities, and roadmaps aligned with business needs and product plans.
- Use performance data and feedback loops to drive continuous insight and improvement.
- Build and lead high-performing engineering teams and promote strong product management and iterative delivery practices.
- Advise engineering and product leadership, influence cross-team architecture and strategy, establish engineering best practices, and mentor engineers across levels.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience defining and driving full-stack software engineering, architecture, and delivery for cloud-native platforms and large-scale distributed systems.
- 5+ years in senior, principal, or architect roles building cloud-native applications with GCP, AWS, Azure, GKE, BigQuery, Spanner, Bigtable, or other PaaS technologies.
- 5+ years of frontend development experience with Angular, React, React TypeScript, or React JS.
- 5+ years of backend development experience using Python, API Forge, REST APIs, or Java.
- 5+ years working in Scrum-based iterative delivery and using Agile concepts such as sprint planning and CI/CD.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience integrating AI or GenAI capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include 12+ years of experience with an advanced STEM degree, enterprise healthcare or regulated-industry platform experience, healthcare data and compliance familiarity, ML-Ops and AI lifecycle exposure, identity/security/privacy architecture experience, cloud networking and firewall implementation, cloud migration and modernization, and experience with OpenAI, Gemini, Agentic AI automation, Cursor, Copilot, Vertex AI Studio, or Claude Code.
