Responsibilities
- Deliver minor enhancements to shared services, integration adapters, and SDK surfaces within defined guardrails.
- Design, develop, review, test, debug, and optimize software features and enhancements.
- Implement API versioning, lifecycle, interoperability, compatibility, and migration practices.
- Improve observability, resilience, monitoring, logging, and service reliability based on API and SDK usage.
- Troubleshoot application programming interface functionality, integrations, product maintenance issues, and customer-reported defects.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, automation, testing, and debugging to support service availability and health.
- Collaborate with team members, customers, and experienced colleagues to investigate issues and align short- and long-term solutions.
- Track timelines, prioritize work, follow development and secure coding standards, and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of software development, coding, design, testing, debugging, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to develop and review code for new features and enhancements with limited guidance.
- Knowledge of API functionality, integration, versioning, lifecycle, interoperability, monitoring, observability, and performance optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot standard and moderately complex software issues and customer-reported defects.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, software quality processes, acceptance criteria, and industry best practices.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and customers, communicate effectively, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Willingness to learn new skills and tools and participate in continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
