Base Salary
$217k - $269k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and implement security strategy and controls across Roblox’s hybrid and multi-cloud environment.
- Build services and tooling that make secure deployment the easiest path for developers.
- Architect and scale systems that monitor cloud posture and automatically enforce a self-healing security baseline.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to incorporate threat modeling and secure-by-default patterns into cloud environments.
- Deploy organizational security controls that protect developers without slowing them down.
- Write and optimize security detections tailored to Roblox’s environment.
Requirements
- At least four years of relevant professional experience.
- Professional code-writing and maintenance experience in at least one language such as Python, Golang, or C#.
- Experience with automation, infrastructure as code, system hardening, container security concepts, cloud security policy, and observability.
- Deep understanding of cloud service architecture and cloud security concepts.
- Familiarity with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
- Understanding of network security concepts and best practices, including secure connectivity and egress controls.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners, evaluate build-versus-buy decisions, and make informed decisions under ambiguity.
