Responsibilities

  • Automate deployment, operation, and maintenance of systems in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Administer and secure Linux-based systems and applications across virtual and physical infrastructure.
  • Design, deploy, maintain, and administer corporate IP networks.
  • Create automated self-service solutions for routine infrastructure requests.
  • Integrate security testing tools into build and deployment pipelines.
  • Monitor the reliability and security of applications and infrastructure services.
  • Contribute to incident response and apply application security practices across applications and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Strong experience administering and securing Linux hosts on virtual and physical infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tooling, including Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
  • Experience configuring, managing, and securing public cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience administering containerized applications with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience administering IP networking in a corporate environment.
  • Experience automating tasks with Bash, Python, JavaScript, or GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of security testing and monitoring tools, including SAST and SIEM products.
  • Knowledge of monitoring application and infrastructure metrics with tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience contributing to incident response across complex microservice-based applications is particularly valued.
  • Application security experience, including threat and vulnerability identification, secure software design, and implementation of security measures, is particularly valued.
