Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain Ripple’s multi-region, multi-provider service platforms.
- Build automation, monitoring, and instrumentation tools to reduce operational friction and improve engineering efficiency.
- Discover, implement, adopt, and continuously improve next-generation infrastructure and platform solutions.
- Build and automate platform and application lifecycle services with minimal human interaction.
- Collaborate with product engineering to ensure code is production-ready.
- Promote DevOps-first principles and encourage consistent engineering standards.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Strong experience with Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience managing extensive, multi-region service platforms and cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and experience with container schedulers and runtimes such as Docker, Rkt, or OCI.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, or Mesos-based environments.
- Experience building deployment pipelines with common CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Security awareness and experience applying security-focused engineering methodologies.
- Experience with Agile development of distributed services, robust software builds, scalability, and security.
- Ability to collaborate positively and share knowledge.
