Base Salary
$100k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in business process due diligence for customer application implementation projects.
- Advise life sciences customers on commercial technology strategy, architecture, best practices, and solution design.
- Analyze, design, and create commercial architecture landscapes with support from Solution Architects.
- Create end-user requirements and high-quality assessments, health checks, and commercial architecture deliverables throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
- Use technical and product knowledge of Veeva commercial applications to deliver customer solutions.
- Meet with senior management and executives as a subject-matter expert and explain complex client and vendor concepts to varied audiences.
- Provide direction to junior team members and support recruitment efforts.
- Extend Life Sciences subject-matter expertise, learn Veeva solutions, and develop team capabilities, best practices, and accelerators.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and Veeva colleagues to drive customer success.
- Balance program or engagement management, analysis, and technical work across customer engagements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working with Commercial IT Architecture in Life Sciences.
- Experience with commercial solutions and architecture design, data architecture, and Salesforce effectiveness.
- Knowledge and applicable work experience in commercial operations within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Proven ability to lead colleagues and customers through complex situations to achieve results.
- Strong presentation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required for this client-facing role.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Prior consulting experience is preferred.
- Product knowledge of Veeva Commercial Cloud applications is preferred.
- Experience with pharma or medical devices companies is preferred.
- Knowledge of business process development, SOPs, governance processes, and program management is preferred.
- Additional technical experience with data warehousing, web services, ETL, SQL, Force.com, FTP, and batch CSV integrations is preferred.
