Responsibilities

  • Develop and debug DDR initialization and runtime driver sequences.
  • Debug system-level DDR issues including memory corruption, bit flips, memory lockups, memory leaks, cache corruption, and CPU hangs.
  • Perform DDR issue triage, system-level validation, test-case development, and test-case enhancements.
  • Analyze large volumes of data to identify patterns and failure causes.
  • Own and drive multiple chipsets in the DDR technology area.
  • Collaborate with performance, PHY, controller design, software, and hardware teams.
  • Support DDR qualification against stability, power, and performance goals through product launch.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in embedded systems and the DDR domain is requested for the Lead Engineer position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 3+ years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 2+ years or a PhD plus 1+ year.
  • At least 2 years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with DDR technology, including memory controllers, PHY, and DRAMs, is preferred.
  • Experience with firmware and software driver development, platform driver development, board bring-up, or strong system-level debugging is required or desirable.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, JTAG, processor and CPU architecture, RTOS, core BSP driver-level development and debugging, and SoC systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of system-level test methodologies and mobile-system validation is expected.
