Responsibilities

  • Perform system-level power and performance analysis on Qualcomm IoT targets.
  • Analyze and identify power challenges and enable system-level power features.
  • Drive debugging and analysis to identify software solutions for optimizing battery power consumption.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on power and performance optimization.
  • Apply knowledge of Embedded Linux systems, microprocessor architecture, and SoC hardware blocks.
  • Use Linux toolchains, build environments, and performance-analysis techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 3+ years of software engineering or related work experience; alternatively, a master's degree with 2+ years or a PhD with 1+ year.
  • M.Tech/B.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 2+ years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Embedded Linux systems experience with understanding of upstream code, Yocto, and Ubuntu.
  • Understanding of microprocessor architecture and common SoC hardware blocks, including interconnects, display, graphics, and multimedia.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux toolchains and build environments, with hands-on performance-analysis experience.
  • Awareness of systems concepts including scheduling, memory management, and device drivers.
