Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality software serving hundreds of thousands of requests per minute.
- Investigate technologies and strategies to improve service scalability, data handling, and speed.
- Build reliable systems in collaboration with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps engineers, and Tech Leads.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Use modern software development methodologies and Agile processes.
- Experiment with new frameworks and technologies and continuously learn.
Requirements
- University or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of working experience in microservices development.
- Excellent knowledge of a mainstream programming language such as Go, Java, Python, C++, or C#.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems such as MongoDB, Redis, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with SOLID principles and software design patterns.
- Experience consuming and developing APIs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, communication, collaboration, and English-language skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and concepts quickly.
- Familiarity with a major cloud services provider, with AWS experience considered a plus.
- Experience working in an Agile team and involvement with open source projects are beneficial.
