Responsibilities
- Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting for complex deliverables.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance to improve code quality, delivery speed, testing, documentation, and productivity while validating outputs.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Design, develop, and execute testing scenarios covering business functions.
- Triage and analyze failures in complex multi-system environments.
- Develop automation frameworks for functional and performance testing of API services.
- Collaborate with product management, business analysts, development resources, infrastructure, support, and other software engineering teams.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 4+ years of applied experience.
- Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database-querying languages.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile engineering practices.
- Experience with REST Assured, Cucumber, Serenity, Selenium WebDriver, Gherkin syntax, JMeter, and BlazeMeter.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful web services, JDBC, JSON, HTML, XML, Maven, Eclipse IDE or IntelliJ, and Git or Subversion.
- Ability to guide peers on safe and effective AI-assisted engineering practices and contribute to an innovative culture.
