Base Salary
$144k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve embedded software build infrastructure and build tool pipelines.
- Administer build systems, machines, tools, and physical and virtual Windows and Linux environments.
- Enable Bazel and CMake builds for new hardware and software targets and optimize makefiles and build scripts.
- Deploy and manage build pipelines using Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitLab CI.
- Monitor build infrastructure, resolve emake issues, establish health reporting, and advance self-healing infrastructure capabilities.
- Provide infrastructure management, operations, onboarding, documentation, on-call support, and technical troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with configuration release engineers, developers, DBAs, QA, project managers, IT engineers, and internal customers.
- Improve system performance, high availability, scalability, and infrastructure configuration, deployment, and monitoring frameworks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of embedded build infrastructure management, systems/infrastructure, or related engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience enabling Bazel builds for new hardware targets and managing embedded build infrastructure.
- Experience with observability tools such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Fluent Bit, and Logstash.
- Proficiency with Batch, Python, MATLAB, Bash, Git, SVN, cross-compiler toolchains, GNU GCC, CMake, EMake, Make, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows and Linux systems using tools such as Wireshark, SMB, pdb, strace, tcpdump, and dbg.
- Experience maintaining infrastructure on Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related technical major, or commensurate experience.
- Desired qualifications include 5+ years of DevOps experience, strong C/C++ and Python programming skills, Perl knowledge, continuous integration administration, TCP/IP and HTTP/HTTPS knowledge, and familiarity with embedded Linux and RTOS.

- Base-pay ranges vary by salary region from $143,600-$206,600 in Region 2 and $168,900-$243,100 in Region 1.
- The compensation package may include incentives, benefits, and equity.
- The role may be subject to U.S. export controls, export-license approval, or a Technology Control Plan.
