Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable, efficient, and reliable platform solutions.
- Design and develop technical solutions that deliver on the product vision.
- Solve complex technical challenges and improve system performance and reliability.
- Refine platform architecture and optimize integrations with other systems.
- Review specifications and code submissions and conduct thorough testing.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to support merchants and customers.
Requirements
- Extensive programming experience in at least one major language, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C++, C#, or Python.
- Experience working on large distributed systems at scale.
- Understanding of and experience working with SQL databases.
- Ability to write solid unit and integration tests.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration in a remote environment.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned work.
- Passion for building products that help African businesses.
