Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product team to collect requirements and verify design feasibility.
- Transform high-level requirements into performant and user-friendly mobile and web applications.
- Develop full-stack applications using modern web frameworks.
- Create data contracts between client and server and troubleshoot issues across the full stack.
- Manage code documentation, version control, and the software development lifecycle.
- Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks affecting project timelines.
- Report regularly on project progress.
- Perform or coordinate commercialization activities, including user manuals, technical support requirements, and training materials.
- Promote the use of technical software tools throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, C#, or Python.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, software design principles, and software design patterns.
- Experience applying Agile methodologies in software development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: experience developing tools for manufacturing or the energy industry.
- Preferred: familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
- Preferred: experience using AI coding assistants effectively.
- Preferred: background developing software for mechanical engineering applications or simulation tools.
- Preferred: working knowledge of statistics, algebra, and calculus for physics-based simulations.
- Preferred: proven record of delivering software products in an Agile environment.
