Responsibilities
- Develop core features and APIs for the AI risk management platform.
- Model, structure, and deliver risk insights to AI systems via MCP.
- Integrate with LEAP’s AI ecosystem, including the Free Thinking Paralegal and Matter AI.
- Build scalable backend services and polished frontend experiences.
- Contribute to architecture, technical direction, reliability, observability, and performance.
- Prototype and refine LLM-driven features for real-world systems.
- Own features end-to-end from ideation through release and collaborate with the Matter Issues team.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Strong understanding of APIs, backend development, and databases.
- Clear and thoughtful communication skills.
- Experience with AI/LLMs, automation workflows, agent systems, LegalTech, SaaS, or LLM prompt engineering is preferred but not required.
