Base Salary

$87k - $198k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end remote sensing processing systems for infrared remote sensing missions.
  • Lead radiometric and spectral response modeling and advanced imaging algorithm development.
  • Direct ML-based anomaly detection, behavior classification, and object discrimination frameworks.
  • Design multi-sensor fusion pipelines combining GEOINT, Radar, RF, and optical data.
  • Lead trajectory estimation and 3D kinematic modeling involving IOD, parallax exploitation, and uncertainty quantification.
  • Architect scalable scientific computing solutions using Python, C++, CUDA, HPC clusters, or cloud-native platforms.
  • Mentor junior engineers and establish technical road maps with client and mission leadership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in remote sensing, image or signal processing, or GEOINT data exploitation.
  • Experience with orbital mechanics, satellite characterization, domain-specific applications, or SDA operational workflows.
  • Experience with Python, scientific Python packages, or object-oriented programming languages such as C++ or JavaScript.
  • Experience architecting large-scale software environments such as CUDA, HPC, or cloud platforms.
  • Experience with ML systems for imagery processing, target detection, tracking, or object classification.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
  • Preferred experience includes missile warning or tracking missions, synthetic simulation models, OPIR/EO/IR/RF/Radar/GEOINT track integration, technical publications or briefings, uncertainty quantification, Kalman filtering, tracking algorithms, and AI-augmented development workflows.
  • A preferred master’s degree or additional doctorate-level education in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
