Base Salary

$82k - $172k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Assemble large, complex datasets to support AI/ML algorithm implementation.
  • Build infrastructure for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources.
  • Curate and maintain data supporting metrics and evaluation.
  • Implement artificial intelligence and machine-learning algorithms.
  • Redesign infrastructure for scalability, optimize data delivery, automate manual processes, and improve internal workflows.
  • Develop software within a multidisciplinary team using Agile methodologies.
  • Support AI/ML algorithms across large language models, natural language processing, and time-series predictive analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Data Science, AI/ML, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience, preferably as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or Software Developer.
  • Experience developing data pipelines and normalizing data using Python packages such as NumPy, Pandas, or Polars.
  • Experience collaborating in a team environment with version-control tools such as Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include an M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant field and TS/SCI clearance with polygraph experience.
  • Preferred experience includes GitLab, DevSecOps, test-driven development, Docker, Docker Compose, AWS, Spark, and PySpark.
  • Preferred experience includes large language models, transformer architectures, NLP, BERT, reinforcement learning, clustering, deep neural networks, tracking and pattern-of-life algorithms, GenAI Ops, Hugging Face, LangChain, Linux, application deployment, virtualization, containerization, and GPU programming.
  • Preferred experience includes Gymnasium Gym, OpenEnv, TorchRL, RLlib, Stable Baselines, LangFuse, MLflow, Arize Phoenix, AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, and Bedrock.
  • Preferred experience includes Java, C++, Rust, Go, C#, CUDA, Podman, Kubernetes, Rancher, and proposal writing.
  • Experience leading interdisciplinary teams of researchers and software developers is preferred.
