Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments of Cloud security and vulnerability reports to determine risk, impact, and appropriate mitigations.
- Manage multiple cross-functional security efforts and escalations involving complex, interconnected technical problems.
- Act as a subject-matter resource across broad security domains and build relationships with legal, engineering, and communications stakeholders.
- Investigate impacts to Google Cloud and customers to determine whether new detection or compromise notifications are needed.
- Drive improvements to security capabilities while balancing security risks, business needs, and customer impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience in security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
- Five years of experience with security assessments, security design reviews, or threat modeling.
- Five years of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.
- One year of experience leading teams technically or leading technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment.
- Preferred: eight years of experience with vulnerability identification, assessment, and management.
- Preferred: background in security operations, systems administration, digital forensics, security engineering, or vulnerability assessments.
- Preferred: experience leading teams through ambiguous situations, influencing without authority, communicating complex risks, and presenting to varied audiences.
