Responsibilities
- Use statistical methods and data science tools to solve airline network-planning problems.
- Independently deliver projects for multiple airline customers and manage customer project delivery.
- Define KPIs, analyze complex business requirements, and communicate quantitative findings in an actionable manner.
- Extract and cleanse large datasets from multiple sources using complex business logic.
- Automate repetitive workflows with heterogeneous tools and contribute to framework development.
- Lead and support team members through collaboration and continuous innovation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and external teams to improve product quality.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a quantitative subject, MBA, engineering, or technology with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Solid programming skills and expertise in statistical tools such as SQL, SAS, R, Python, or similar tools.
- Experience applying complex business logic to extract and cleanse large datasets from sources such as XML, TXT, XLS, and SQL.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools, preferably Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and customer-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Preferred qualifications include 2–3 years of airline-industry experience, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, and hands-on framework development and end-to-end workflow automation experience.
