Responsibilities
- Design and develop Danim backend endpoints and its dedicated API, including interface documentation, versioning, testing, performance monitoring, and data-quality oversight.
- Maintain and improve DPE and DVF imports and data pipelines, including ingestion, cleaning, transformation, anomaly correction, source-format adaptation, and data consistency.
- Optimize PostgreSQL/PostGIS queries and indexes for large datasets.
- Fix security vulnerabilities and update dependencies using tools and practices including Snyk and penetration testing.
- Fix bugs, perform refactoring, reduce technical debt, maintain tests and GitLab CI pipelines, and provide level-three production support.
- Map the Immosearch architecture and maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, deployment procedures, and restoration procedures.
- Build knowledge redundancy through pair programming, code reviews, incident pairing, and proposals to simplify and make the codebase more transferable.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in backend development or data science.
- Strong Kotlin skills and good knowledge of PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
- Experience designing REST APIs and processing large data volumes.
- Comfort with data pipelines involving ingestion, cleaning, and transformation of substantial datasets.
- Knowledge of Docker, GitLab CI, and security best practices.
- Python, TypeScript, Node.js, or Flutter knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with geospatial or real-estate data is appreciated.
- Candidates should be rigorous, autonomous, and comfortable taking over existing code.
