Responsibilities
- Build, evolve, and support Data Services offerings and integration initiatives.
- Design and implement REST APIs and modularize application functionality into independent services.
- Convert product backlog items into implemented software features.
- Configure client sandboxes and data services, perform custom integrations, and validate data and software integrity.
- Support client integration activities from scoping through deployment of customized software, APIs, and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams, consulting services, clients, and other project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent degree is required; a master’s degree in computer science is preferred.
- 4–6 years of experience as a full-stack software developer using Ruby on Rails.
- At least 3 years of experience architecting, implementing, and maintaining REST API clients and servers.
- At least 3 years of experience maintaining large web applications of 100,000 or more lines of code using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, React, Node, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Java, ReactJS, MySQL, and AWS infrastructure.
- Experience with GitHub, Jira, Sidekiq, and Elasticsearch is preferred.
- Strong algorithm analysis, communication, collaboration, analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
- Ability to support client-facing integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
