Base Salary
$200k - $284k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and contribute to the long-term architecture of the React Native mobile application for iOS and Android.
- Own mobile feature delivery end to end, from technical design through implementation and release.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate requirements into reliable, scalable app experiences.
- Maintain, refine, and modernize the existing React Native codebase with a focus on performance, stability, and maintainability.
- Uphold code quality through reviews, testing, documentation, and collaboration with other engineers.
- Ensure mobile application performance, reliability, and security standards are met.
- Create and implement Git-based workflows and release pipelines for mobile applications.
- Stay current with mobile and React Native best practices and improve engineering processes where beneficial.
Requirements
- 6+ years of deep React Native experience with multiple meaningful production deployments.
- Hands-on experience maintaining and scaling existing React Native applications, beyond greenfield development.
- Experience with Swift and/or Kotlin for extending or augmenting React Native functionality.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives, owning projects, and working with high-performing engineering teams.
- Knowledge of mobile engineering best practices, including performance optimization, security, testing, and release management.
- Experience creating and implementing Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines for mobile app releases.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical tradeoffs and decisions.
