Base Salary
$184k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and support in-house software testing infrastructure, including hardware testbeds and simulated test scenarios.
- Develop novel off-nominal test scenarios to expand test coverage.
- Integrate simulation tools into automated testing campaigns with the Simulations team.
- Contribute to testing infrastructure architecture, best practices, policies, and detailed technical proposals.
- Incorporate feedback from client teams to improve testing tools and procedures.
- Provide reliable estimation and planning, maintain team alignment with company goals, and support performance metrics.
- Mentor Test and Simulation team engineers.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience as a software engineer in a team environment.
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Linux systems administration and Docker containers.
- Proven ability to deliver reliable software testing infrastructure.
- Knowledge of C/C++, statistical analysis, electronics test equipment, embedded hardware testing, Hardware-in-the-Loop testing, Software-in-the-Loop simulation, cloud deployment environments, and large-scale integration test orchestration is preferred.
- Applicants must meet applicable U.S. Government export-control eligibility requirements for access to controlled information.
- Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
