Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and operate cloud-based services for managing and processing data at scale.
  • Build full-stack features across .NET/C# backend services, React/JavaScript frontends, and SQL data layers.
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems, cloud data sources, notification providers, and internal APIs.
  • Plan and execute service and data migrations, including schema changes and production deployment progressions.
  • Apply containerization, event-driven architecture, and infrastructure-as-code patterns on Azure.
  • Manage and troubleshoot GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and independently deploy team-owned services.
  • Use logging, metrics, dashboards, and distributed tracing to investigate production issues and improve systems.
  • Remediate security vulnerabilities, participate in on-call and incident response, and complete follow-up improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and adjacent teams to deliver sprint work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET, or a comparable object-oriented language with willingness to learn the stack.
  • Experience building and operating cloud-based services.
  • Ability to independently implement complex features and debug production issues.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and schema change management.
  • Preferred experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
  • Preferred experience with GitHub Actions, observability platforms such as New Relic or Grafana, and enterprise authentication patterns including OAuth2, OIDC, or SAML.
  • Preferred experience with third-party APIs, enterprise SaaS integrations, containerization, event-driven design, infrastructure-as-code, and Azure.
