Base Salary
$162k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data applications using Python, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and data processing pipelines.
- Implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces for data analysis and reporting.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Next.js, React.
- Proficiency in SQL for complex data retrieval and manipulation.
- Experience in health-tech, genetics, or bioinformatics is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
