Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable monitoring, alerting, and self-healing systems to maintain service availability.
- Lead incident response for critical outages, including root cause analysis and long-term resolution strategies.
- Develop infrastructure automation and reliability tooling for deployment, recovery, and scaling.
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to embed reliability principles into product and platform design.
- Perform capacity planning, fault-tolerance analysis, and performance optimization for high-traffic systems.
- Mentor junior SREs and promote operational excellence, automation, and effective incident handling.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture using AWS, GCP, or Azure, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
- Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Extensive experience with observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Splunk.
- Proven experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
