Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize Azure platform components such as App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vaults, and API Management.
- Develop Terraform or Bicep infrastructure-as-code for scalable and secure resource provisioning.
- Implement observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Develop Power Platform lifecycle automation, ALM pipelines, environment provisioning, DLP policies, usage reporting, and licensing optimization.
- Design and maintain GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps pipelines for deploying containerized workloads to AKS.
- Implement secure AKS architectures with ingress, autoscaling, monitoring, and security controls.
- Lead cloud platform process improvements covering incident management, platform health, self-service enablement, reusable standards, blueprints, and FinOps.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, operations, architecture, governance, and business stakeholders while promoting documentation, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles in enterprise environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure, PaaS services, Power Platform, and AKS.
- Strong experience with Terraform or Bicep, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
- Strong background in cloud solution architecture and low-level design documentation.
- Practical understanding of DevOps and SRE practices, including automation, observability, and incident response.
- Experience with Power Platform governance, including DLP, ALM, monitoring, and citizen development enablement.
- Experience designing secure and scalable AKS workloads and containerized platform services.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash, plus YAML- and JSON-based configurations.
- Post-secondary education, preferably in technology; GCP knowledge is an asset.
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
