Responsibilities
- Lead the rebuild and modernization of existing web applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Translate UI/UX concepts into scalable, high-quality frontend interfaces in collaboration with design teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance React-based frontend code.
- Own end-to-end feature delivery from design through deployment.
- Influence frontend engineering standards through architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Debug complex issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize frontend performance.
- Work with and improve frontend CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
- Evaluate and adopt modern frontend tools and libraries, including TanStack ecosystem tools.
- Define frontend architecture standards across a multi-package monorepo.
- Own and evolve shared design systems and component libraries used across the platform.
- Review pull requests for architectural patterns, accessibility, maintainability, and code quality.
- Support and mentor engineers and provide team leadership when needed.
Requirements
- 9–12 years of experience in frontend development.
- Strong expertise in React and core frontend fundamentals including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong TypeScript expertise, including strict mode, generics, and type guards.
- Experience in product-based organizations and across the end-to-end product development lifecycle.
- Strong experience with debugging, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
- A solid foundation in computer science fundamentals.
- Experience with monorepo tooling such as Turborepo, pnpm workspaces, or Nx.
- Experience building or contributing to a shared design system or component library.
- Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS or utility-first styling approaches.
- Preferred experience with React Native or mobile development.
- Preferred exposure to modern state and data management libraries, real-time or WebSocket-driven UIs, and modern frontend architecture patterns.
- Preferred familiarity with the TanStack ecosystem, Storybook-driven component development and testing, and headless UI libraries such as Base UI, Radix UI, or Ark UI.
- Ability to collaborate, mentor engineers, manage multiple priorities, learn new technologies, and maintain strong ownership and attention to quality.
