Staff Software Engineer- Frontend (ReactJS)

Responsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible, maintainable frontend applications using React.js and TypeScript.
- Design and implement micro-frontend architectures, including Module Federation, and shared component/design systems.
- Own frontend state management, data fetching, caching, forms, and validation using tools such as TanStack Query, React Hook Form, and Zod.
- Write frontend unit and integration tests using Vitest and Testing Library and maintain strong test coverage.
- Consume and integrate RESTful APIs documented with OpenAPI/Swagger and troubleshoot cross-stack integration issues.
- Contribute to Java/Spring Boot backend services and understand Kafka-driven event systems, relational databases, and end-to-end data flow.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, engineering best practices, and cross-functional solution delivery.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and use modern AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
- Mentor junior engineers and work independently on frontend engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with the majority focused on frontend/UI development.
- Expert-level experience with React.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling, including build systems, testing, and state management.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, and scalable application design.
- Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL and Kafka-driven event systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM APIs or AI-assisted engineering tools is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, collaboration, and independent-working skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
