Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evolve the internal UI platform, shared components, development tools, and front-end architecture supporting more than 100 business applications.
- Partner with product owners, product managers, business stakeholders, and users to define features, user journeys, screens, wireframes, prototypes, and shipped application UI.
- Develop full-stack solutions spanning web front-end development, backend integration, API design, performance optimization, and system observability.
- Lead applications through architecture, technology selection, implementation, deployment, scalability, and production reliability.
- Build and maintain advanced data grids and charting experiences for real-time or high-volume datasets.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests and improve code quality, development lifecycles, technical standards, and engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and help teams adopt modern React patterns and AI-enabled, agentic software development workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional UI engineering experience, including at least 2 years leading or designing front-end architectures.
- Advanced React and TypeScript expertise, including large-scale component-system architecture, performance optimization, technical standards, and mentoring.
- Strong UI/UX design collaboration experience and ability to translate business requirements into user stories, journeys, and application designs.
- Experience partnering with product management across the lifecycle from concept and requirements through design iteration and delivery.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Codex, Claude, and Copilot throughout the development lifecycle, including building and operating agents and skills.
- Familiarity with Redux, Zustand, and RxJS.
- Experience with advanced data grid and charting tools for real-time or high-volume datasets.
- Proficiency with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks such as RTL, Mocha, Jest, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Preferred experience building internal trading, analytics, or compliance tools in finance or fintech.
- Preferred experience with AWS EC2, Kubernetes-driven deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred experience with high-throughput event-driven data pipelines using Apache Kafka or Apache Spark.
- Preferred experience with design systems, React-based micro-frontends, and modular UI architectures.
- Preferred proficiency in one or more of Go, Python, Java, or Rust.
- Strong communication, engineering judgment, and ability to develop technical plans and UX artifacts with stakeholders.
