Responsibilities
- Develop robust and scalable backend services.
- Collaborate with developers to create cohesive and functional code.
- Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Manage and maintain code repositories using Git.
- Develop and maintain containerized applications with Kubernetes.
- Write and maintain Perl scripts.
- Integrate automated testing and deployment processes with cross-functional teams.
- Make technical decisions independently within a team.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of software development experience using one or more server-side programming languages.
- Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent qualification, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Git and branching strategies.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, and independent-work skills.
- Experience with distributed systems and products serving a large customer base is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate is a plus.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration is a plus.
- Proficiency in Perl scripting is a plus.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI is a plus.
